Period of Performance:
November 2014-May 2015
Project Summary:
Manufacturing parts to ever changing specifications requires tight control over the physical drawings used to produce AFM’s mission critical fasteners. We were able to learn AFM's process, export their manufacturing documents from AutoCAD and an old proprietary DOS program, import them into a new system and give them total control over their manufacturing process in one system. After this project was completed we added an industry first revision control feature that increased the efficiency of their quality inspectors fivefold.

Period of Performance:
July 2011-March 2012
Project Summary:
AFD1 approached us because they had a customer that wanted them to maintain an on-site warehouse. Integrating a foreign stocking location into an existing process is notoriously difficult. We showed them that the solution is a system that can be changed quickly when new requirements are discovered. As predicted, features were added quickly over the first month. Later, we added a resource planning module with real time stock-out and minimum level notifications.
Period of Performance:
November 2013-December 2013
Project Summary:
AFD1 was a paper based company when we met them. Their inventory was on index cards and all of their Purchase Orders and Sales Orders were in filing cabinets. We built a custom ERP system for AFD1 and implemented it alongside their paper processes over time. This included building a system to barcode all their inventory using the web browser in iOS and Android based handheld devices. AFD1 employees needed no formal training while management now has real time inventory tracking, reports and dashboards.

DNA Laboratory (DL)
DL has been funded by the National Institute of Justice, to perform DNA analysis on Unidentified Human Remains and the Family Reference Samples required for the identification of Missing Persons throughout the United States.
Point of Contact:
LIM System Manager, contact jen@wfprod.com for a referral.
Period of Performance:
May 2011-March 2012
Project Summary:
Over the years, DL had used three different Lab Information Management Systems(LIMS) for their DNA lab. We exported all the data from their three LIMS and consolidated it into a new one they dubbed FIDOS, Forensic Investigative Data Operating System. Over time we’ve added Case Management and several other modules to improve their workflow.

Aerospace Fastener Distributer (AFD2)
AFD2 is a highly rated distribution and supply chain solution provider for aerospace hardware and components. They service the entire aerospace supply chain, from OEM's to distributors. Among other things, AFD2 is a provider of kitting solutions for the military and OEM’s.
Point of Contact:
Executive Vice President, contact jen@wfprod.com for a referral.
Period of Performance:
January 2011-January 2012
Project Summary:
Providing kitting solutions in the aerospace industry is a complex undertaking. Lot traceability, sub-kits and kit version control all add layers of complexity to the kitting process. Additionally, an off-the-shelf solution may be expensive or even impossible to alter should capabilities or requirements change. AFD2 had identified customer interest in kit serialization and they were rightly concerned. If serialization were to become required shortly after a new system was implemented it would have meant augmenting the off-the-shelf system with paper processes while upgrading their kitting module or switching out their ERP system entirely. We built them a custom ERP system with a custom kitting module to their specifications and when the requirements changed we updated their system to handle the new requirements. AFD2 later requested a custom kit part forecasting solution and we delivered a simple, color coded system that updates in real time.
